System Administrator

Entry-level system administrator with passion to work in Linux and Linux-based systems with the following qualifications. Job responsibilities include supporting production systems, interacting with clients and assisting R&D team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical Diploma or bachelor's degree with math or statistics (preferably B-Tech, CSE) or Master of Computer Applications (your qualification may influence your compensation package and your joining position)
• Exposure to Linux and Linux-based systems
• Understanding of scripting environments in Linux/FreeBSD
• Linux/FreeBSD troubleshooting skills and general problem solving ability
• Good verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Apache, Postfix and OpenLDAP
• Networking fundamentals such as subnets and routing
• Knowledge of security concepts, Firewall basics and iptables
• Knowledge of PHP and MySQL

 

Software Programmer

Entry-level software programmer familiarity in Linux and Linux-based systems with the following qualifications. Job responsibilities include executing programming assignments independently.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree with math or statistics (preferably B-Tech, CSE) or Master of Computer Applications
• Exposure to Linux and Linux-based systems
• Thorough knowledge of the C programming language
• Knowledge of build tools under Linux/FreeBSD
• General problem solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with FreeBSD build environment
• Familiarity with git version control system
• Networking fundamentals such as subnets and routing
• Familiarity and attitude to script in Perl, PHP and bash
• Knowledge of Apache, Asterisk, MySQL, and FreeRADIUS

 

Engineer, Testing and QA (Networking and Devices)

Entry-level software tester with basic understanding of computer networks and TCP/IP networking.

REQUIRED EXPOSURE

• Software Testing Methodologies
• Basics of Ethernet
• Basics of TCP/IP
• Knowledge of computer hardware

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in testing
• Working knowledge of Linux/FreeBSD
• Knowledge of any scripting language
• Network routing and firewalling
• VPN technologies
• Knowledge of iperf and netperf

 

Technical Writer

Entry-level technical writer with excellent written communication skills.

REQUIRED EXPOSURE

• Information design/information architecture
• Training material development
• Illustration skills (desirable)
• Typographical skills (highly desirable)
