Linuxense offers internship programs to students of Technical Universities and Engineering Colleges. Duration of these programs range from two months to one year. Internship at Linuxense will give students an opportunity to work with professionals and will be a phenomenal learning experience. It may also lead to a rewarding career.

This is one-of-a-kind program for those aspire to have a career in Open source-based technologies. Here you will get a chance to witness and experience how Open source technologies are put into action. You will be given professional responsibilities and will be working with some of the most talented Open source people in the country. You will be treated as part of the Linuxense technology team.

Most of the internship programs will have focus on R&D activities and so they are challenging. Though profile of each internship opening is different, a list of basic requirements includes thorough knowledge of Operating System essentials especially Linux, basic data structures and fundamental algorithms and knowledge of C and Java programing languages.

When an opening for an internship comes up it will be announced in this page and will inform select Universities and Engineering Colleges. We do not have any other method of announcing internship openings.

4. Must be committed to the duration of internship

Linuxense is looking for the right candidate for its internship program to suit the following requirement. This will be a paid program (you will be paid according to your performance) with a duration of 4 to 8 weeks depending on your knowledge and skill. The work done in this internship will be released under GPL.

Requirement	Knowledge of PHP and MySQL on Debian GNU/Linux, AJAX, HTML and CSS. Knowledge of Ploticus will be helpful.
Eligibility	You must be a final year B-Tech Computer Science or MCA student or a fresh graduate of this discipline and haven't yet taken a job.

Location	Trivandrum
Term	From 15 March 2006 to 15 May 2006 (may end earlier)
Stipend	Will be informed after interview.

This is a full-time program and you should be committed to the assignment during its period.
